Secrets to Minimizing Open Time Book

The success of any dental practice depends on the schedule. Keeping the schedule full and maintaining that every spot on the schedule remains full can make or break a healthy practice. This is one of the many lessons I have learned in my years of having Lois on our team as a trusted Consultant. I have worked with Lois for over 25 years. She has consulted in my practice on multiple occasions and multiple topics, from hiring the correct team to communication and team building, keeping everyone not only on the bus but in the correct seat on the bus. This book may very well be Lois’ best work. I had the privilege of reading this book within a week of our last team retreat with Lois and was amazed at the information I still picked up within the book. Not only is Lois a great personal friend but an inspiration for all of Dentistry.

Have you ever seen someone stand on a mountain top and fly? I mean absolutely soar!!! I have witnessed Lois Banta do not only this, but I have also witnessed her climbing that mountain. I met Lois in 1998 at Linda Miles second Speaking and Consulting Network, where Lois and I became fast friends. I have heard her say the words, “I don’t want to be a speaker, I only want to be a consultant”. Only to grow to be one of the most successful and sought-after speakers in the dental industry. Her first speaking engagement was at the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry and she truly exploded with information that I don’t think she even realized she had in her head. This lecture lit a fire that has only grown exponentially over the years, both in knowledge base and in audience numbers. The pride that I feel and so many others feel for her accomplishments cannot be measured. But we sure have enjoyed the Lois Banta climb to the top and the soar from that mountain.
